Recorded for "Live To Lathe", a limited edition lathe cut single release event at The Goat Farm in Atlanta on 2/22/14, featuring live large-scale painting by artist Molly Rose Freeman (which was cut into the 30 7x7" album covers), live lathe cutting onto plastic of the 7" records by Thomas Barnwell, live screenprinting of the back cover and liner notes by Straw Hat Press, all done during a live performance by Book Club, and assembled by the band. Also includes a limited edition screen-printed customizable bookmark. Edition is limited to 30.
Recorded and mixed live to tape by Damon Moon of The Cottage.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Creatives Project (TCP), a non-profit arts organization that strives to unite the arts, education, community, and commerce to build strong foundations and partnerships further enabling arts eco-systems to flourish. As Atlanta's only residency program to offer subsided housing, TCP also provides residents studio space and exhibition space for a two-year period. In exchange, participants give back to their local communities through arts based outreach.
REDDING HILL www.reddinghill.com lyrics How can I tell you what I just don’t know? I’m not hiding anything, I just can’t see what won’t show. And I don’t think it’s fair to accuse a withholding. You have no idea what you’ve no idea of knowing.
It’s not fair calling what I do a country song or an attitude. It’s as much as a reaction as it is a mood. Not to mention the fact it shifts all blame from you.
Two-way streets and double-sided knives. Boomerangs and Bedroom Eyes. Some return, and some can lie. Boomerangs and Bedroom Eyes.
I’m not saying you’re a target, but you’re not bulletproof.
